Websites for chartered accountants, consultants and law firms
Referrals now check you online before they call. A copyright line from six years ago undoes the introduction.
What your buyers are typing
These are the shapes of search that produce a qualified enquiry in across India. A site that doesn’t contain these words, in this order, can’t appear for them.
- Buyer searcheschartered accountant firm Vadodara GST
- Buyer searchescompany incorporation consultant Ahmedabad
- Buyer searchestransfer pricing advisory firm India
- Buyer searcheslabour law compliance consultant Pune
What we usually find
- A copyright line six years out of date, on a practice selling continuity
- Partner profiles with names and qualifications and no photographs
- Service pages that explain the subject rather than the practice
- Nothing published since 2019, on a site meant to signal activity
What a rebuild changes
- Every date correct, with a review scheduled so it can’t rot again
- A photograph and a plain line on what each partner handles
- Pages describing how this practice handles the work
- A short note every month, which is enough
What buyers verify before they call
Buyers in this sector are usually comparing three suppliers at once. These are the things they check, roughly in the order they check them.
- Who does whatNamed partners with photographs and the areas each one actually handles.
- SpecialismWhether you have done this specific thing before, for a business like theirs.
- RegistrationsFirm registration number and the memberships that apply.
- ScaleTeam size, offices and whether you can take on their volume.
- Current activityWhether the firm is visibly still practising.
The numbers worth publishing
Specifics are what a buyer can act on and what an assistant can quote. Adjectives are what every competitor already has.
- A page per service, described as the client problem rather than the statute
- Partner profiles with specialisms and contact routes
- Sectors you genuinely serve, named
- Firm registration details
- Something published recently, so the practice looks active
Questions we get from this sector
Our work comes entirely through referral. Why publish?
Referral gets you named. The person then searches you, and usually searches two alternatives at the same time. What they find across those three tabs decides who gets the call, and you never see the comparison.
Can we describe client work without breaching confidentiality?
Almost always, if you describe the problem rather than the client. A manufacturer facing a GST classification dispute on imported components says a great deal and names nobody.
Do we need photographs of the partners?
They help more than anything else on the page. Professional services are bought on trust in individuals, and a partner list with names and no faces reads as a firm that would rather not be identified.
Every one of those is drawn from the constructed teardown for this sector, which walks through six findings with severities, costs and a starting order. Read the professional services teardown.
