What we collect

One thing: whatever you type into the enquiry form. That is your name, your company, your current website address and a phone number. There is no account, no login and nothing you can subscribe to.

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not use third party analytics that follow you across other websites, and there are no marketing cookies on this site. The two calculators on the home page run entirely in your browser and nothing you type into them is sent anywhere or stored.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask for an audit, to carry it out. Your website address is the one field that does real work, because it lets the audit begin before we speak.

Who sees it

Us. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anybody for their own purposes. Where a supplier processes it on our behalf, such as the service that delivers our email, they act only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after twelve months. Where an engagement follows, we keep what the engagement and Indian tax law require, and no more.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to erase it. Write to audit@buildgin.com and we will respond within one working day and act within thirty days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries reach a monitored mailbox with access limited to the people who need it. If a breach occurred that affected you, we would tell you rather than wait to be asked.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the previous version is available on request.

To be completed before launch. Add the registered entity name, the registered address and, if applicable, the GST registration number. A privacy policy without a legal entity behind it is not enforceable and reads as boilerplate.
