Buildgin / Questions
Twelve questions, answered plainly.
These are the things owners actually ask, in roughly the order they ask them. If yours is not here, the answer is probably that it depends on the audit, and we would rather say so than guess.
Is this a template?
No. Every site is drawn from its own audit and built for the business it belongs to. We do not resell a layout across clients.
Does our current site go down during the rebuild?
Your existing site stays live until the new one is ready. The switch happens in a single step, scheduled outside your working hours.
How long does it take?
An audit takes five working days. A rebuild runs four to six weeks from the day you approve the findings.
Who writes the content?
We draft it from the audit, your existing material, and one call with whoever knows the products best. You approve every line before it goes live.
Can we take the audit without the rebuild?
Yes. The findings are yours to keep and to act on with any vendor you choose. That is the arrangement rather than a concession.
Do you invoice with GST?
Yes. Invoices are raised against your registered entity with GST applied, so the spend goes through your books the same way any other vendor does.
Our enquiries come through IndiaMART and WhatsApp. Why does the website matter?
A marketplace listing puts you in a row of competitors sorted by whoever paid more, and the platform owns the buyer relationship. Your own site is the only place a buyer sees your range without an alternative beside it. Most buyers check both.
What happens after launch?
The maintain tier covers patching, updates and a monthly report. If you stop there, you receive the files, the accounts and a handover document.
What if our previous vendor will not hand anything over?
It is recoverable. The domain can be reclaimed through the registrar with proof of ownership, and the site content from archives. What cannot be recovered is analytics history, so ask for that first.
Will we lose our Google rankings in a rebuild?
Not if it is done properly. Every existing URL gets a redirect to its new equivalent. Losing rankings in a rebuild is avoidable and it is the vendor’s job to avoid it.
Do you work with businesses outside Gujarat?
Yes. The work is done remotely with one or two calls, and we have no preference about where a client is based in India.
What does it cost?
Pricing is settled after the audit, because quoting before measuring is guessing. Our writing on what websites cost in India sets out the bands honestly.
