Buildgin / Services / Website audit

Tier 01

A condition report on the asset nobody has tested.

Five working days, five measurements, and a written report with a number against every finding. Yours to keep and act on, with us or with anybody else.

What it covers

01
Load time on a real connection

Measured at 6 Mbps, which is a realistic 4G throughput outside a metro rather than an advertised one. We report transfer size, largest contentful paint and where the weight actually sits.

02
Behaviour on a phone

Every page, at the screen widths your visitors actually use. Horizontal scroll, tap targets, text size, and whether the phone number opens the dialler.

03
Search position for terms buyers use

Not your company name, which you rank for anyway. The material, grade, size and city combinations a buyer types, and who appears above you for them.

04
Indexed page count

How much of your business a search engine can see. A company with three hundred products and six indexed pages has found its single largest problem.

05
Enquiry delivery, end to end

We submit your own form from outside your network and follow it to a person. This is the finding that most often surprises owners.

What you receive

  • A written report, one page per finding, with a measured number against each
  • A priority order, because the findings are not equally expensive
  • A recording of the walkthrough call, 45 minutes, so you can share it internally
  • The raw measurements, so anybody can repeat them

Questions

How long does it take?

Five working days from the day we start. There is no queue to join.

Do we have to give you access to anything?

No. Everything in the audit is measured from outside, the same way a buyer sees your site.

What if we do not want the rebuild?

Then you keep the report and act on it however you choose. That is the arrangement, not a concession.

Is it worth it if the site is obviously bad?

Usually yes, because obvious problems and expensive problems are rarely the same list. The report tells you which three things to fix first.

Start with the audit either way.
